I was just testing this barrel, with no idea what kind of results I was going to get. The idea of this barrel is that when you break paint, get dirt or water in the barrel it will be pushed into the groves so it doesn’t affect the flight of the next ball. I found that if we used the normal tip with brittle paint (expecting it to break) in the cold it broke so much paint wouldn’t be able to make it out of the stock barrel tip. When using the ACP tip the paintball was able to make it out. The conclusion is that the ACP barrel did help the flight and make it so you could keep firing if you did happen to break a ball. We will do more tests in warmer weather.
